Jupiter proud to be headline sponsors for the Global Women Fresh event at Fruit Logistica Berlin, 5-7 February 2020.
The Global Women Fresh (GWF) network was established in 2018 with their first event taking place at Fruit Logistica Berlin 2019. More than 200 individuals, including three female Jupiter representatives attended the inaugural conference that featured discussions around shared concerns and objectives of women in the worldwide fresh produce market.
The networks co-founders Julie Escobar, Monica Bratuti and Viviane Schappo have over 25 years experience in the industry between them and organise events aimed at women in the fruit and vegetable sector.
Inspiring and empowering women
GWF look to create a positive change in the global community through ‘connecting, inspiring and empowering women in the fresh produce industry’. As women make around 80% of all household purchases, part of the GWF’s mission is to help integrate more women into the supply chain, providing them with the correct business tools to ultimately strengthen economies and businesses.

Fruit Logistica Berlin brings together 3,200 exhibitors and 78,000 trade visitors from the fresh produce sector every year. After last year’s conference success, the GWF will again be connecting women across the agri fresh industry.
