Looking back over ten editions of Global Roots

With a full count of ten front covers, over 100 pieces of news, industry insights, world firsts, awards and deliciously interesting topics covered since we launched Global Roots back in 2018, we thought it right to revisit the hot topics of the editions and revel in the scale of our movement since the magazine began.

Edition one

This one was all about first times. The inaugural edition of our quarterly mag offered up the first Jupiter ranking in the Sunday Times HSBC International Fast Track in 17th place for international growth, a roundup of our first stand at Asia Fruit Logistica in Hong Kong and our first UK employee immersion trip to our Greek vineyards in Kavala. In addition we saw Francesca, our Head of Logistics talk us through swapping her stilettos for steel toes in a piece about driving change in gender stereotypes.

Edition two

The second Global Roots hit the ink press in January of 2019. We shared our exciting South African expansion news as we progressed the acquisition of Bonaire to amalgamate our farming, supply chain and marketing expertise, allowing us to move another step further towards our global grower goals. We rounded up a successful trip to Madrid Fruit Attraction and showcased our favourite snippets from hosting the Global Grape Conference in Greece.
