We’re hitting the headlines again
And this time around it’s for transforming into a digital workplace!
As part of our business plan and to continue building on our successes this year, we made the decision to go paper-free to help us improve staff efficiency and streamline processes with M-Files, an intelligent information management solution.
And it’s been a huge success in just 18 months since we embraced it across all our offices around the world.
A shining example
So much so that we have appeared in a host of online publications, including: Channel Eye, Supply Chain Times, Digitialisation World, African Farming as well as being showcased on M-Files’ own website too as a shining example of how well the system works in practice.
Some of the headlines include: “Fast-growing global fruit distributor goes digital to improve collaboration and streamline processes”; “Jupiter uses M-Files to strike at paper piles”; and “Fast-growing global fruit distributor goes digital”.
It’s not the first time that we’ve been in the headlines this year.
There was widespread media interest after we appeared in The Sunday Times International Track 200 for the first time in 17th place, on the back of our impressive international growth, and we were also named Best UK Fresh Produce Company by Lux Life.
Building on proud accomplishments
The M-Files system, which we introduced in June 2017, is helping us further build on these proud accomplishments.
Our CEO Mark Tweddle said: “We were introduced to M-Files by our Managed Services Provider EBC Group, as a better way to manage documents that would allow us to go paper-free and improve the way we share information globally.
“Our goal is to become the number one IT company in fresh produce and M-Files will be essential to us achieving this goal.”
He added: “Many of our staff travel frequently, or literally work from the middle of a field.
“M-Files has a mobile app which allows our staff to work more efficiently as they can access information, complete tasks and approve documents without having to wait until they are back in the office.
“It also helps them to collaborate better with colleagues in other departments or countries.”
A key transformation
Tim Waterton, the director of UK business at M-Files, said: “Jupiter Group is a fast-paced organisation going through a key transformation to becoming a digital workplace and it’s fantastic to be part of this journey.
“With the continued support of EBC Group, Jupiter has exciting plans to use M-Files as the link between all its business applications and systems, and to become the central pool of all information for the business.”
Based in the UK, Jupiter Group is a leader in the global fresh produce market. Ranked 17th in the 2018 The Sunday Times International Track 200, Jupiter grows and supplies new varieties of grapes alongside a global supply of citrus, top fruit, stone fruit and kiwi.
