Our Chilean vineyards- ARRA 15
Our vineyards are currently on hiatus in Chile as the winter period allows rest and rejuvenation ahead of their bud break next spring.
The first stage of the vine cycle that yields grapes, or ‘bud break’ is due in September which is apparent from new green growth that appears on the vine during this stage.
Our team on the ground in Chile are reporting many good quality vines for the forthcoming season and are looking forward to starting the pruning stage next week.
ARRA 15 (ARRA Sweeties™)
Our ARRA 15 vines are conserving their energy reserves ahead of a much anticipated 2021/22 Chilean grape season. Standing out for their unique elongated berries, ARRA 15 also has an irresistible crunch when eaten.
Adding to the flavour and eating quality of this grape it is notable that it also benefits from an excellent shipping performance and long-shelf life while its ‘ideal bunch shape’ and an ‘incomparable rain resistance’ makes it most sought after during the season.
