Harvested from week 40, citrus farms in the Marrakech, Rabat and Agadir regions of Morocco provide excellent climactic diversity.
Soft citrus spotlight
The first of our Moroccan fruit are only seven weeks away! Jupiter’s exceptional Clementine’s have a sweet and zingy flavour packed under their vibrant orange skin. Clementine’s are a firm favourite as a to-go snack due to their immense health benefits and the typically juicy and sweet eating quality.
Jupiter’s juicy Nour’s perfectly bridge the potential supply gap between Clementines and Nadorcott’s in the Moroccan citrus season. A clementine hybrid, Nour’s are popular due to their flavour and fantastic natural colouring.
Originally developed in this north African region, Nadorcott’s are a premium mandarin-type and prized for their intense, tangy flavour profile and their exceptionally easy to peel skin. Seen as the superior soft citrus option globally, our Nadorcott’s are grown with great care to ensure not only an attractive looking fruit, but one that tastes great too.
Our carefully cultivated Moroccan fruit are picked fresh and processed through state of the art packhouse facilities, purpose built for speed and efficiency. Depending on vessel rotations, our fruit ships from Casablanca and Agadir, with arrival into Europe taking only four days via global shipping routes.
