We are pleased to announce that as part of our annual BRCGS (Brand Reputation through Compliance Global Standards) audit, we have been awarded the highest available grade of AA.
Alongside our vision of being the most transparent company in fresh produce, we pride ourselves on our commitment to provide safe and high-quality food products. A key part of this commitment is our yearly BRCGS audit to renew our certification.
Our prepared products
Alongside our portfolio of prepared fruit to go options, in mid-2021, we were delighted to announce a partnership with the UK’s No.1 snacking cheese brand, Babybel® to unveil an exclusive Babybel Light Cheese, Apple & Grapes snack pack.
Our innovative 75g new snack pack launched in the food-to-go fixtures of Tesco stores nationwide and is available as a standalone item, as part of Tesco’s popular meal deal and also in selected SPAR stores.
BRC accreditation
With confirmation of our BRC AA accreditation, we can continue to satisfy the growing demand for our prepared fruit, through our custom-built high care facility with bespoke lines created to maximize efficiency.
Jupiter Group’s Technical Director Cristian Metzger says:
“I am delighted with the result of our latest BRCGS audit, that saw us retain our AA grading. It is a testament to the continued hard work from our Technical and Production teams to ensure that we achieved the highest possible grade, with only two minor non-conformances.
It is a superb result for us as it confirms to our stakeholders that our production operates to a globally recognised standard for food safety.
We look forward to continuing our high standard of production and maintaining the maximum level of food safety for our clients and customers.”
BRC Global Standards aim to assure the standardisation of quality, safety and operational measures to make sure that manufacturers comply with legal obligations and provide protection for end consumers.
