We are really pleased to share that Jupiter Group’s Head of Marketing, Kirsty Fleetwood has recently joined the Global Women Fresh Board of Directors

Who are GWF?

GWF look to create a positive change in the global community through ‘connecting, inspiring and empowering women in the fresh produce industry’.

As women make around 80% of all household purchases but are only 20% of the voices heard in boardrooms, GWF’s mission is to help integrate more women into the supply chain, providing them with the correct business tools to ultimately strengthen economies and businesses.

Hear from Kirsty…

We caught up with our Head of Marketing to get her thoughts on being the latest GWF Board member. Kirsty says:

“As I am passionate about supporting positive change in both the workplace and in the wider community, I was delighted to be asked to join GWF as a member of the Board. I’ve been proud to support their initiative, along with my MD Yvonne Tweddle, since their inaugural conference at Fruit Logistica Berlin in 2019 and I am excited to now be involved more formally.

I’m eager to play a role in assisting Global Women Fresh and their key goals moving forward over the coming years, through sharing ideas and collaborating with other women in our industry I’m confident that we can continue to place emphasis on equality in the sector.”
