Last week we celebrated our biggest ever packing week out of India, with our fantastic fruit being exported to the UK and the Netherlands.

We are continuing to see very excellent quality from the table grapes harvesting and are pleased to keep adding value to the supply-chain by packing at source.

A focus on Thompson Seedless

Although each season we continually work to expand our new variety portfolio, traditional varieties continue to play an important role in our production from India.

The Crimson, Sharad and Sonaka have now finished from our farms and the remainder of the season will be focused on our delicious Thompson Seedless.

The quality that we have seen so far from our Indian farms has left us confident that we are in an exceptionally strong position for the remaining weeks of the season.

Our Indian farms will continue to supply table grapes until around WEEK 23.

Market conditions

We’re pleased to note that the market is currently in a positive position, and as we move forward throughout the season we’re looking ahead to a continued strong performance.

Conditions on farm in the Nashik region are ideal with normal daytime averages of around 30° and lows of 14° overnight.
