First Team Telford AFC success for Jupiter’s Lauren White

We know we’ve got a skilled bunch of employees here at Jupiter Group, but their talents also extend outside the office environment.

And we’re just as proud to shout about these achievements too.

Our latest success story is teenager Lauren White, who’s recently joined us as part of her 18-month business admin apprenticeship (equivalent to six A Levels) at Walsall College.

The intelligent 16-year-old, whose mother Emma has been PA to our CEO Mark Tweddle for over a decade, has been selected to join the First Team Ladies Under 18s with Telford United AFC.

In a recent Tweet, the football club, which plays at New Bucks Head stadium, welcomed Lauren, and another promising player, to the first ladies’ team.

“A bright future ahead”

The Tweet stated: “We are delighted to welcome to the first team squad Abbie Baldwin and Lauren White from our Under 18s.

“Both have done very well over pre-season and have bright futures with the club.”

Her manager, Kirsty Fleetwood said: “Lauren has only been with the company for a couple of months, but she has already proved to be a real asset.

“She puts 100% commitment and effort into her work for Jupiter, and clearly this extends to her leisure time pursuits too.

“It’s clear she will have a bright future ahead of her, whatever career she chooses to pursue. Well done Lauren from everyone at Jupiter Group.”

The Telford United AFC Ladies, which reformed in 2009, compete in the Birmingham County League. You can follow their progress on their Facebook page here or their website here.
