In a month that has seen records smashed at the Tokyo Olympic games, we’re delighted to share that we have broken our own personal best; beating the previous orange packing record on our South African farms.

As part of our mission to be the most transparent brand in fresh produce we’re really pleased to share the statistics behind our biggest ever packing week that includes almost 12 million oranges being processed from our own production in Limpopo.

Our GREEFA packing line

Jupiter fruit is handpicked at the optimum time to preserve quality and taste, with our pickers selecting the ideal sweetness and colouration from the 494 hectares of oranges found on farm.

Once carefully removed from the tree, our citrus then makes the short journey from our orchards to our world-class packing facility.

Streamlining efficiencies on farm, our market-leading packhouse benefits from a GREEFA packing and wet-line that allows us to pack in excess of 50 tonnes of citrus per hour.
