Jupiter’s Colombian grown avocados are cultivated in the ideal South American climate.

Nutrient rich and packed full of great flavour, our Hass avocados are raised in the moderate humidity and year-round warm temperatures of Colombia which means that they can be harvested 12-months of the year.

Creamy and consistent

The thick and pebbled skin of Hass avocados house a velvety soft textured flesh, easily scooped out when ripe to add to your favourite salad or even mashed onto toast. Hass avocados have a shorter ripening time than other varieties of the fruit which means that the consistent and creamy taste can be enjoyed often.

Alongside the popular Hass variety, we grow Fuerte, Pinkerton, Reed, Bacon and Ryan avocados, ensuring a wide range of available options.

Grown in Colombia

Climactic conditions in the mountainous avocado growing areas provide the superb drainage, nutritious soil and unobstructed light needed for optimum development. Not only does Colombia provide the ideal growing conditions for this popular fruit, Jupiter avocados are naturally pollinated by honey-bees that are kept in colonies surrounding our fruit during the flowering season.

A true superfood

Jupiter avocados are a fantastic source of potassium, monounsaturated fat, vitamin E and iron, providing many important antioxidants, helping to prevent free-radicals causing cell damage.

Consuming just half an avocado each day provides the body with one of the NHS’s recommended five-a-day. This true superfood also offers a great source of folate, fibre and B vitamins; all of which are important to the function of a healthy immune system and body as we head into the winter months.

The Jupiter Group is a leader in the global fresh produce market. Ranked 17th in the 2020 The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200, Jupiter grows and supplies new and traditional varieties of grapes and citrus alongside melons, pineapples, limes, avocados, kiwi, blueberries and cherries.
