To support our fantastic National Health Service (NHS) workers during the COVID-19 global pandemic, we were pleased to donate boxes of fresh fruit to hospitals close to our UK Headquarters.

In light of the recent circumstances globally it was an honour to supply boxes of fresh apples to the teams at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH).

SaTH is the main provider of acute hospital services for Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and mid Wales.

The Princess Royal Hospital in Telford and the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, both of which are in the same county as our Newport HQ, will receive 100% of our donation, ensuring that health care workers are provided with a well-deserved boost on the go.

Making sure that our NHS heroes have good quality and healthy snack options to keep them fueled during these unprecedented times is of vital importance. Fresh produce can help keep you fit and healthy when consumed as part of a healthy and balanced diet.

Collecting donations

Kathy Weeks, a Theatre Sister at the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford, is collecting NHS donations, despite the ongoing challenges globally surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kathy says “We’re very grateful for Jupiter’s donation and know that the NHS teams in Shropshire will really enjoy their fresh fruit.”

Pauline, a Patient Supervisor and Jane the Deputy Catering Manager were on hand to accept the fruit boxes and will ensure that they are distributed across the county.
