Thinus and Nick from our UK procurement team, today delighted children with natural sweet treats at Church Aston Infant School near Jupiter’s HQ in Shropshire.
The infant school children listened to a short presentation all about our global supply of fresh fruit to help with the important understanding of where our food comes from. Our prepared fruit team even managed to put together tasty snacks for the children to enjoy while they listened, including pineapple, watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew and apple.
The fruit samples were loved by the school children with many of them raising their hands when asked if they prefer fruit to chocolate! Yes you read that right.
Thank you to Church Aston Infant School for inviting us to take part in the children’s learning and we look forward to hearing that the local supermarkets are inundated with exotic fruit purchases, rather than chocolate!
