The Jupiter team had a fantastic time at both the Asia Fruit Congress and Asia Fruit Logistica in Hong Kong last week and returned abuzz with new activity for the business from our existing and new suppliers, customers and colleagues from the East.
Asia Fruit Congress Sponsors
In what was an excellent start to proceedings on September 3, our CEO Mark spoke as part of a panel to discuss Intellectual Property developments in the fresh produce industry. The Q&A session was extremely well received and as always Mark’s presence brought our family ethos and the Jupiter spark to the stage. You can catch the full video footage in the next edition of Global Roots, our corporate magazine that will land in early December.
We were also pleased to sponsor the Congress again this year and were delighted to see the pen and notepad that we provided to delegates being utilised, ensuring they didn’t miss a thing!
A great quality show
Asia Fruit Logistica, which ran 4-6 September was particularly successful for us as a group, with footfall to our stand exceeding expectations despite the city’s trying circumstances. Exhibitor numbers were strong too, with 810 exhibitors presenting a wide range of products and services from around the world and from every step of the supply chain.
Our Elara Gold branded citrus created quite a buzz on the stand and our ARRA variety table grape selection also had many admirers over the course of the three day event. It was great to see our partners Grapa over the course of the three days too.
Delicious plans for AFL2020
Based on the success of this year’s visit to both the Asia Fruit Congress and Asia Fruit Logistica, we’re aiming for an even bigger and better show in 2020. We look forward to bringing even more of our fabulous fresh produce to the next event.
The next edition of Asia Fruit Logistica is due to take place on 23-25 September 2020, again at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong.
We look forward to seeing you there.
