A warm welcome to the Jupiter family
Those who know us well here at Jupiter, will already be well aware that rugby is very close to our hearts.
With a focus on both discipline and teamwork, rugby is great at bringing people together, and we’re already proud to sponsor several community sporting initiatives, including in South Africa, through our Nancy Tweddle Foundation.
Now, as well as being a long-term supporter of Rockafellas’ Rugby Club, we are delighted to reveal that we’ve teamed up with another South African rugby club to sponsor their team’s kit.
Players from Newtons Rugby Club, also known as Bombela’s, based in the Western Cape, recently took to the field wearing their new club kit with our Jupiter Group fresh produce logo on.
Another proud milestone
It was a very proud moment for all of us, but especially members of our South African Jupiter team watching the milestone from the sidelines.
Judging from these fabulous pictures of smiling faces, sent to us from James September, the chairman of Newtons Rugby Club, the players are loving their new kits.
Our CEO Mark Tweddle, who is a former rugby player and a rugby coach at Burton Rugby Club, said: “We are delighted to welcome Newtons Rugby Club to the family of club’s that we support in South Africa and we look forward to continuing to work with them in the weeks and months to come.”
The first game that Bombela’s played in their new kit saw them impress, with a close game that left them just missing out on a win against opponents Living Legends with a final score of 12-14.
