Proud and delighted
Jupiter is proud and delighted to have received an enthusiastic thank you letter following its support of the Under 16s Rockafellas Football Club’s Tournament of Light in South Africa.
We’ve already revealed how thrilling the tournament was in our blog here, which features more on the club itself and our involvement with them.
Wonderful letter of thanks
But we would like to take this opportunity to share with you a wonderful letter that we’ve received thanking us for the supporting role we have been honoured to play here at Jupiter Group.
The letter also unveils some extremely exciting news of how seven of the boys from Rockafellas have been successfully scouted – one is joining Cape Town City FC on a semi-pro contract basis, and six others are looking forward to playing with Bolton Wanderers FC and touring with Manchester United FC.
Our CEO Mark Tweddle said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have received such an amazing letter, but we’d also like to take this opportunity to say a huge thanks back to the club and the tournament organisers for allowing us to be a part of such a wonderful venture.
“It is making such a difference to many lives in and around Mitchell’s Plains, Cape Town, and we’re extremely proud to be a part of that journey and excited to hear the fabulous news about the boys’ sporting careers going from strength to strength.”
“We will keep the Jupiter flag waving for years to come”
Letter from Nino Solomons, Club Administrator:
“Good Day Mr Mark and Jupiter Management,
“On behalf of Rock’a’fellas Football Club, we would like to express our deepest thank you for Jupiter Group’s involvement and contributions towards our organization. Our members feeling proud as Jupiter have surely opened doors in terms of development and upliftment.
“Since Jupiter Group came onboard we, as a community based club project within the Rocklands Mitchells Plain community, has climbed the ladder and been highly driven by Jupiter Group’s boost towards its attempts and targets and, surely, we will keep the Jupiter flag waving for years to come.
“As a combined unit the development and upliftment within the community has been tremendous and has led the club’s target in achieving its goal for example.
“Firstly – the Tournament has once again been highlighted, acknowledged and recommended by SAFA officials, and SAFA Cape Town President Mr Bennet Bailey, as one of the best well-mannered and structured tournaments within its Under16 division, across the Western Cape of Cape Town, and hope that the Tournament continues on a yearly basis.
“Secondly – One of our youth players Keagan Matthyse (16 years old) has been scouted and joined Cape Town City FC on semi-pro contract basis. On the other hand six of our youth players, Duwayne Davids (16 years old), Raees Adams (17 years old), Ruaan Newman (17 years Old), Tyriq Toefy (17 years Old), Devlin Petersen (17 years old) and Tawfeeq Cupido (18 years old), have been selected by Simsport International, which serves as an agent for Bolton Wanders FC in the UK, and will be on trial at Bolton Wanderers FC (from end of September till mid-October 2018 – at players own cost) and will be participating in friendly matches against Football Academies in the UK and touring Manchester United FC as well.
“Jupiter has surely played a major role, as a partner, a donor and a member, and we hereby salute you, and thank you, for your generous support and contribution towards this venture.
“However, this Under16s tournament and Rockafellas FC, with the involvement of Jupiter Group, will surely grow from strength to strength on a yearly basis and will reach greater heights.
“Your support towards our organization is highly respected and appreciated and we are certain that Jupiter’s contribution towards its beneficiaries in South Africa and globally are surely blessed by our Heavenly Father.
“Yours Sincerely in Sport, Nino Solomons, Club Administrator.”
