Want to know about our high-quality, market leading Greek grapes?
Predominantly based in the north of Greece, our farms can offer for supply, across the globe, both Thompson and Crimson grapes.
Both renowned for their superior eating quality they are amongst the most popular seedless grapes.
We’re proud of our high standards, and following suit, all our partners have well-managed and very-capable pack house facilities, which are overseen by our own technical department.
All boast full Due Diligence GAP, BRC, IFS, HACCP and ISO 22000 accreditation (TNC, and Field to Fork can also be implemented on request).
As always, we are able to offer a wide array of packaging options to suit our customers’ needs.
And, as we’re not one to rest on our laurels and always strive to improve our customer offer, we’ve also introduced a Marco Packing system to advance the quality of our service even further.
Here’s more about our Greek grape offer……
The white, seedless Thompson grape is renowned across the globe for its superior taste and quality. A medium-sized grape, that traditionally ripens from the end of July to early August, we are able to offer this sweet, ellipsoid-shaped grape – variety from week 32 through to week 46.
A late-season red seedless, the Crimson grape, another medium-sized grape, is firm, crisp and sweet. One of the most popular varieties, we can offer the Crimson table grape, which varies from oval to cylindrical in shape and ripens traditionally at the beginning of September, for supply from week 36 to week 50.
Mixed grape punnets
Combination punnets of both these excellent table grapes can also be supplied if desired – all you need to do is ask!
New variety grapes
We’re excited to reveal that our fields of new, pioneering ARRA variety grapes are also in full flow in Greece.
You can find out more about the cultivation and yield of these unique grapes here, and why they are so eagerly, and widely, anticipated too.
This year we’re also proud to have planted a further 28.6 hectares of ARRA varieties to bolster our crop – and a further 109 hectares will also hit the ground in 2019.
Our Trade Marketing Manager Josh Lait said: “Our pioneering grape development in this arena not only extends the time period we can offer Greek grape, but is also increases our quality supply.
“Our agronomist team, works alongside our partners, offering knowledge and support, and together continually monitor and strive to improve the quality of our production.
“These are certainly exciting times for Jupiter as it continues to build on its existing successes as both an international grower and trader of superior fresh produce.”
