A kiwi, of course! And, here at Jupiter Group, we can supply three Class 1 varieties of Greek kiwis – including the striking yellow Soreli kiwi, which is NEW for this season.
With five times the vitamin C of an orange in just one serving, it’s no wonder that kiwifruit has made it onto the list of superfruits. Described by some as a “fuzzy brown powerhouse”, it’s just one of the plethora of fruits that Jupiter Group is able to offer as a British-born, family-run, international fruit grower and trader, based in the Shropshire countryside.
From three quality sources in Greece, we can supply three Class 1 varieties of kiwifruit from Week 40 straight through to Week 22. Amongst the varieties we offer, in a range of packing formats – from loose 10kg, 3kg display tray and pre-packed to bespoke options – include the Haywood and Green Light kiwi. But, we’re particularly excited to reveal that, new for this season, we are now also able to supply the striking, yellow fleshed, Soreli kiwi, which is theearliest maturing of the kiwi varieties.
Also known as the Chinese gooseberry, and rich in vitamins A, K, E and B, potassium, copper, folate, and fibre, we can offer all three kiwi varieties in a range of sizes.
With the Haywood and Green Light, we can offer these in sizes 23 to 42 (from Week 40 to Week 22 for Haywood and Week 40 to Week 50 in the Green Light); and in the yellow Soreli, predominantly in sizes 33 to 36 (from Week 42 to Week 5). All our three high-quality suppliers have their own packing facilities with full accreditation; Global Gap, BRC, Grasp, HACCD, and ISO 22000.
Greece is also where we’re cultivating pioneering new varieties of grape and we’re incredibly excited about our first yield later this year.
