It’s Asia’s premier continental fresh produce trade show, and the Jupiter Group will be at the heart of it.

Set to be bigger and better than ever, according to Asia Fruit Logistica 2018 organisers, the eagerly anticipated expo will run from September 5th to 7th.

The location for the event will once again be in Hong Kong – dubbed Asia’s World City and gateway to China – at the AsiaWorld-Expo Centre in Lantau. And, in keeping with the bigger and better theme, we are gearing up to have our largest ever stand to date at the three-day event.

It’s a very exciting time for us to be joining other global leaders from the fresh fruit and vegetable industry at Asia Fruit Logistica 2018 as we’ve got some pioneering developments to showcase from our ever-growing high-quality fresh produce world.

Earlier this year we were ranked 17 in the Sunday Times’ International Track 200 as one of the UK’s fastest growing firms for international sales, and we’re close to welcoming the exciting first yield of our pioneering new varieties of grapes in Greece.

And, there’s more to come, because as part of our five-year business plan we will also be increasing our presence in Asia-Pacific – so, as they say, watch this space!

Those attending the show will get to her all our latest plans and developments we’re making as an international grower and trader.

Our CEO Mark Tweddle said:

“2018 has been a very exciting year for Jupiter Group and continues to be as we forge ahead with plans to expand our international reach as a grower and trader.

“One of the important regions of growth for us in the coming months is Asia-Pacific and we will be looking to further develop our presence there.”

Last year Asia Fruit Logistica 2018 attracted over 13,000 visitors from different countries – with “well over” three-quarters coming from Asia-Pacific – and there were more than 800 companies, from 43 different countries, exhibiting alongside Jupiter.

For this September’s show organisers have revealed that they are expecting “many new companies and countries” to join loyal exhibitors like Jupiter as well as attend the Asiafruit Congress, ahead of the show kicking off on September 4th.

Mark, a rugby coach and director of rugby at Burton Rugby Club, added:

“Asia Fruit Logistica is an annual highlight in the industry’s expo calendar. “It’s where key links of the international fresh fruit and vegetable supply chain meets face to face each year to make contacts and do business.

“As always, our team will be there showcasing our produce supply, including our new varieties of grape as well as other new produce.”

Just one of the new products we’ve recently introduced to our year round supply is the striking, yellow-fleshed Soreli kiwi – you can read more about that here.

Will you be attending the Asia Fruit Logistica 2018? If so, why let us know? Or better still pay our stand a visit and send us a photograph on any of our social media channels, including on WeChat.

The Asia Fruit Logistica 2018 takes place around the same time as the Fat Boys 10s charity golf and rugby tournament in Hong Kong, on September 7th and 8th, which we are proud to be sponsoring.

So, if we don’t see you at the show maybe we’ll see you at the tournament?
