An award winning grower

The Jupiter Group is an award-winning fresh produce grower, born in 2003 that specialises in cultivating grape and citrus, though our growing expertise also extends to melon, pineapple, avocado, lime, kiwi, blueberries and cherries in all formats and sizes.

The humble beginnings as a single desk and computer with co-founder and now CEO Mark Tweddle shaped Jupiter’s future. Strong moral principles ensured our business is value based with our strength coming from our approach to developing long term relationships.

“The Jupiter mission is simple – to be the most transparent brand in produce for growers and consumers globally.”

We are industry leaders in developing new varieties of fresh produce and are proud to work with a range of leading international retailers; our complete root to retail solution makes us stand out from the rest.

Global growers

Our rapid ascension from fresh produce supplier to grower has seen the business develop from a custom UK packhouse to farms stretching across four continents, with our world class produce now growing in Africa, Asia, Europe and South America.

As new variety development in fresh produce remains at the fore-front of our objectives here at Jupiter Group, we are pleased to continue to invest in our South African citrus farms, our table grape testing blocks globally and to hold the exclusive Master Licence for ARRA™ varieties and Maylen® in both India and Greece.

Full transparency

As part of our mission to be the most transparent brand in produce for growers and customers globally; our implementation of blockchain technology is closely aligned with our hands-on commitment to bring global consumers good quality, fresh and delicious fresh produce as well as traditional and new variety fruit with a truly transparent supply chain.

Jupiter Group’s blockchain vision champions true supply chain transparency, satisfying the increasing consumer demand to understand the origins and practices behind fresh produce.

Supporting communities

Making a difference in local communities globally is important to us and in 2009 we created the Nancy Tweddle Foundation, a charitable initiative named after CEO Mark’s late grandmother.

The foundations aim is to support community groups to achieve more, working with local and international projects to make a positive difference to those that are less fortunate.

The Jupiter Group today

Mark along with his wife Yvonne, Joint MD now steer our first-generation, family run, global business alongside a fantastic global team of people.

We are particularly proud to have been ranked for three consecutive years in the renowned Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200, listed as one of Britain’s mid-market private companies with the fastest-growing international sales.
