Direct Supply
Our specialism to supply customers direct from source has become increasingly popular. As part of our commitment to the environment we try to reduce food miles by delivering direct from source where possible. Also by providing this service we offer customers a fast, efficient supply chain and the most competitive prices. We follow the supply through to delivery to ensure that all customers requirements are met.Our network of suppliers, shippers and transport companies means that Jupiter Marketing is well placed to serve the majority of products direct, offering a reliable and trustworthy service.
Location
Our central England location in Newport, Shropshire is ideally situated for access to motorways up, down and across the UK, but as an International business we have a logistics network in place to access any country and the technology systems in place to have a face to face conversation which enhances the understanding of any subject.Operational Facilities
The cold store and packing facility is also based in Newport, Shropshire. It provides 600 pallet spaces based over 4 cold stores, and employs an average of 80 staff in the pack house. This provides a service for our European customers as well as a contingency for suppliers across the world as we can take in and grade through produce to optimise their return for produce where problems have been discovered.Technical Standards
We are proud to announce that not only are we the first fresh produce company in the Uk to have an unannounced BRC audit but our high standards and attention to detail which is driven by our Senior Operations Manager, Technical manager and the operations team achieved an A* grade for 2010 / 11.Specifications
We work closely with our customer base to meet the exact specifications of their requirements. We then liaise closely with our suppliers or with our pack house to make sure those specifications are met. This is communicated on an internal database which allows customers access to the correct specification. Technical support is available for growers and suppliers to help with the interpretation of those specifications.
