At Jupiter Marketing we pride ourselves on the relationships we develop with our supply base. Communication and trust are essential. We specialise in short supply chains to aid this communication as well as to offer all stakeholders in the supply chain the returns they deserve.Our Team
At our head office we have a team of four managers working on the procurement of our product range. Each specialises in a product area and are constantly in touch with markets across the world to ensure the optimum returns for the specification of produce supplied. We also have a team of regional procurement managers who are based in South Africa, South America, Israel, Greece and India to ensure we have a contact locally based to co-ordinate and minimise shipping costs and be on hand to help suppliers with loading specifications in order to maximise the returns for their produce.Quality Assurance
Our QA team is supplier facing and are there to help our supply base. They are responsible for all produce procured by Jupiter Marketing Ltd, from source through to storage within our designated facility. They implement and manage all systems of Quality Assurance required for our business.Our QA team liaises daily with our Regional Procurement Managers and our supply base providing suppliers with all the information relating to their deliveries including: intake reports, temperature recorder data, photographs, MPG status and any further information requested by any relevant party. The team also manages our ‘Supplier Security Protocol’ & ‘Residue Testing Program’, all aspects of our supplier technical accreditation - such as GlobalGap, TNC, ETI, Sedex and any other accreditation where guidance and audits are required as well.
Seasonality
Where possible we follow seasons around the world in order to offer our customers a continuous and consistent supply. We are continually looking for new countries of supply for products that have a supply window opportunity. For example supplies from Brazil & China are our latest additions to the grape calendar.Traceability
At Jupiter Marketing we operate a remote access system which is designed to allow growers and agents to gain access to an online spreadsheet showing the current status of their programmed shipments. This includes detail on documents, product delivery, quality and payments. These spreadsheets are grower specific and are confidential, with access granted to the individual supply chain via an individual password. This system provides a greater level of accurate information flow for all parties that in turn provides the optimum traceability.Supply Standards
If not already accredited all suppliers are required to be working towards Eurep Gap Certification as a minimum requirement to supply Jupiter Marketing. All suppliers also complete our self audit certification including ethical responsibility and trading practice and are subject to random inspections.Many suppliers have progressed to certification to include BRC accreditation, or are working towards such higher levels. Supply Agreement

This is a system designed to provide clear and concise information to all parties involved in the supply chain and to monitor and review the 'life cycle' of each consignment shipped to Jupiter Marketing Ltd. With varying time zones our suppliers are able to to access information 24hrs a day. This means that suppliers, Regional Procurement Managers, our logistics department and Quality Assurance team will continuously update the 'live' information. Through this system all parties can access and download our concise and clear product specifications, our schedule of charges, our terms and conditions and our logistics security protocol.Logistics
We pride ourselves upon the support and diligence provided by our Logistics department to our global supply base, providing regular bulletins to all suppliers regarding changes in UK Port & Customs procedures and liaising with Freight forwarders, Shipping lines and our Regional Procurement Managers. This ensures the flow of information to prevent unnecessary delays, and unnecessary costs!
