New grazing pack in awards shortlist

New Fruitanize product named in Quality Food Awards

We are very excited to reveal that one of our group’s new products has been shortlisted in the Local Shop Quality Food Awards.

The awards recognise “excellence in product development”, and it’s our grazing pack, produced by the Fruitanize division of the Jupiter Group, which is headed up by CEO Mark Tweddle, that’s been named as a finalist in the Food-to-Go category.

Running a busy, global business, we know that time is precious and how important it is to be able to grab healthy food on the go.

That’s why we created the grazing pack, which features our apples and grapes, alongside Ilchester cheddar, and is sold through our customer Spar.

“Competition was tight”

A Quality Food Awards’ spokesman said: “We received a record number of entries into the Local Shop Quality Food Awards this year and the competition was tight.”

Knowing how many high-quality products were submitted for the 2018 awards, we’re even more thrilled that we’ve made it onto the prestigious shortlist.

Jeff Hunt, Managing Director of Fruitanize, said: “To be shortlisted for this award is fantastic news. We’re delighted that this new, and importantly healthy, food on the go product is already winning widespread approval.”

The grazing pack is one of five products shortlisted in the Food-to-Go category, so, please keep your fingers crossed for us!

The winners will be revealed at London’s Grosvenor Hotel on September 27.

Launched in 1979, the Quality Food Awards recognise and reward the best in retail, wholesale and foodservice food and drink products available in the United Kingdom.
